The success of Singapore's public management is inseparable from its mature, perfect and innovative urban governance.

The core of Singapore's urban governance is the urban management concept of "advanced governance". Its construction is on the special social, economic, political, and cultural environment of Singapore. It is a governance concept of public needs, technological innovation as a means, and continuous urban public management system.

The governance of the city will not be static. Analyze the global development trend, adapt to local conditions, plan in advance, design, and layout in advance, and continue to promote industrial change with technological innovation as a means. In the past half century, Singapore's per capita GDP has increased by 80 times, and five economic transformations have been carried out: labor -intensive industries in the 1960s, economic dense industries in the 1970s, capital -intensive industries in the 1980s, technology in the 1990s The intensive industry and the 21st century knowledge -intensive industry. "Separation of regulatory management" is an important principle of Singapore's urban governance. At present, Singapore has established a relatively mature and perfect urban management organization model, and the planning, construction and management are undertaken by different and independent departments.
