The project starts from Baoxing County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, and ends in Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture, with a total length of 10.07 kilometers. Among them, the Jiajinshan Tunnel is 9.35 kilometers long and the flat guide is 9.364 kilometers. It is a technical standard for the secondary highway. The design speed is 60 kilometers per hour. The maximum buried depth of the tunnel exceeds 1400 meters, and there are major bad geology such as rock explosion, large deformation, gas, high and low temperature, and frozen soil. The construction difficulty is high, the safety risk is high, and the organization is difficult. At the same time, the line also involves three natural protection areas including Giant Panda National Park Reserve. The ecological environment is fragile, and civilized construction and environmental protection are strict. In order to save the construction period, the project uses a flat -guided TBM+main hole drilling method to construct, and the two -way excavation is used in two -way. After the flat guide, 4 operating surfaces are added horizontally to greatly improve the construction speed.
