Qingyuan will establish a forest fire risk census database

The Qingyuan Forestry Bureau held a press conference on production safety on June 29 to report on the prevention of safety production, fire and forest fire prevention work on the Qingyuan forestry system since this year. The meeting revealed that Qingyuan is currently conducting the first forest fire risk census, and will be based on this to establish the city's forest fire risk census database.

At the meeting, the Municipal Forestry Bureau notified the city's forestry system in terms of safety production, fire protection and forest fire prevention since this year. In order to implement the first national natural disaster risk census work, under the overall promotion of the province, Qingyuan was fully carried out a census of forest fire risk.

This task is divided into two stages

The first stage is risk element survey, including forest combustion survey, field fire source survey, meteorological information acquisition and processing, historical fire survey, disaster reduction ability survey, etc.;

The second stage is assessment and zoning.

The current work of the first stage of Qingyuan is nearing the end, entering the verification and acceptance stage, and has passed the preliminary verification of provincial experts. The second stage of work is expected to be completed at the end of December 2022.

Forest fires are listed as one of the six major disasters of the national natural disaster risk census. Carrying out forest fire risk census is a major national conditions and national strength survey and the basic work to enhance the prevention of natural disasters. Carrying out a census of forest fire risks. It has great significance to find out the hidden dangers of fire risks, formulate prevention and control zones, carry out fire planning and layout, formulate fire prevention policies and regulations, and study the long -term development of forest fire prevention work.

According to reports, Qingyuan implemented the census to establish and improve the city's forest fire risk survey and evaluation index system. The technical method and model library of the prevention zone forms a set of forest fire risk census and the working system that connects and promotes each other with normal business work.

At the press conference, the Municipal Forestry Bureau also introduced the city's forestry system.
