With a rush of rituals at the scene, on June 30, the Binhai Bay Bridge officially announced the opening of the traffic, and the last puzzle connection of the New Sea Bay Avenue of the New District was completed. The new district Jiaosan Bay and the sand -horn peninsula form formally bid farewell to the old calendar and enter the new history of interconnection.

The total length of the coastal Bay Bridge is 973.6 meters, the width of the road red line is 80 meters, and the main tower is 149.8 meters high. Construction began. The bridge was designed by the team of the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the design concept of "Silk Road Bright Lights, Magnolia Blossoms" was used as the design concept. The coastal landscape was highly combined with the culture of Dongguan City.

The Binhai Bay Bridge is an important channel to connect the new area of ​​the new district and the sand -horn peninsula plate. After the bridge is opened to traffic, the time between the two places will be shortened from 30 minutes to a few minutes, which is of great significance for the new district to achieve smooth interconnection.
