In this regard, Zhao Lijian said that on June 28, China's emergency humanitarian aid in Sri Lanka's first batch of grains, namely 1,000 tons of rice arrived in the Coronapo International Container Pier. The Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan went to the dock to welcome and attend the handover ceremony. Sri Lanka thanked China for helping his hands on the occasion of Sri Lanka, saying that he had a good relationship with difficulties. The Chinese assistance once again showed that the friendship between China and Sri Lanka has a long history, and the Sri Lanka and the people will remember it.

Zhao Lijian mentioned that as a traditional friendship neighbor, China has always paid close attention to the difficulties and challenges facing Sri Lanka, and he feels the same. From April-May this year, the Chinese government announced that it would provide Sri Lanka's largest unpaid assistance since the outbreak of the Sri Lanka Economic and People's Livelihood crisis. Chinese local governments, enterprises, and Red Cross assisted in hand, providing the people of Sri Lanka with multiple batches, diversified, and benefiting people's livelihood assistance. China promises to provide Sri Lanka with a total of 10,000 tons of grain assistance, which can provide students with up to half a year of student meal support for 9 provinces, 7,900 schools, and 1.1 million students in Sri Lanka.

In the end, Zhao Lijian emphasized that China is willing to continue to work with the Sang Fang to deal with risks and challenges to help Si overcome the current difficulties.
