In terms of steadily promoting the construction of grass -roots legislative contact points, Song Rui introduced that the Legal Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has set up 22 grass -roots contact points to cover 2/3 of the provinces in the country, and also drives the provincial level and district -level city -level level. The National People's Congress has established more than 5,500 grass -roots contact points, and the Budget Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has also established a grass -roots budget review contact point. Song Rui said that the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has established a good use of the People's Congress's petition window. This petition window is a place of reception. You can listen to the opinions of the masses face -to -face and accept letters from the masses. Since 2020, the online petition platform of the National People's Congress has been opened to follow the online mass line. Since this session, a total of 381,800 letters and visits have been handled. Among them, more than 40,000 online petition platforms have been accepted. It is also assigned 780 letters to the transfer representatives. The comparative issues reflected in the visits of the masses have been resolved and responded in the relevant legislative and supervision work.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress established a record review information platform, national laws and regulations databases, and representative work information platforms. Song Rui introduced that through these platforms and carriers, we can hear opinions and suggestions reflected by the people and society. In addition to these major platform carriers, in actual work, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has also established and improved a series of working mechanisms to listen to public opinion and gather people's wisdom, including research, discussions, demonstration, hearing, survey questionnaire and other forms. Multiple ways and various ways, hear the wishes of the people extensively and deeply, and improve the quality of the work of the people's congress. In the local area, the people's congress at all levels generally have established "representative home" and representative liaison stations, which has become an important platform for the people's congress representatives to hear the opinions of the masses and fulfill their duties. This is the most important manifestation of the democratic public opinion expression platform and carrier on the National People's Congress. At present, there are more than 220,000 representatives (stations) built across the country, becoming a fixed and effective service platform for representatives to contact the masses, strengthen learning, and fulfill their duties.
