At 14:00 on June 28th, in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China's first biological aviation coal industry device produced biological aviation coal for the first time. The town sea refining and chemical quality management personnel conducted more than 16 key parameters such as distillation, freezing points, and metal content. Confirmation has taken a solid step in the large -scale production and commercial application of Chinese biological aviation coal.

The annual design and processing capacity of this set of biological aviation coal industry is 100,000 tons, and it uses Sinopec's production technology independently developed. The raw materials of the first biological aviation coal came from two scientific and environmental protection companies in Chengdu, Sichuan. According to Huang Aibin, the Science and Technology Room of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Zhenhai, this large biological aviation coal industry device can process 100,000 tons of catering waste oil in one year.

Catering waste oil is often referred to as ditch oil. The actual recovery volume of a monthly dining waste oil in a population city is about 10,000 tons, and the annual recovery of more than 100,000 tons of gutter oil. Considering the revenue of trench oil, if the device runs at full load, it can basically digest a trench oil recovered by a 10 million population cities a year.

In the first time Zhenhai Refinery has just obtained Asia's first global RSB biomass aviation fuel certification certificate, the source of the raw material is displayed as the USED COOKING OIL, which means the use of cooking oil and edible oil. Popular saying is trench oil. Both trench oil and oil contain a large amount of carbon and hydrogen. When people cook at home, after the oil temperature is high, it can be fired in the pot. This is the principle. The biggest difference and difficulty lies in the trench oil contains a large amount of fatty acid compounds, which is about 11%of the oxygen content, while the oxygen content of oil is less than 0.1%, which is more than 100 times. Oxygen molecules directly affect the activity and stability of the refining device catalyst. Trench oil also contains various types of impurities such as sulfur, chlorine, metal elements, etc., and must be removed one by one.

To this end, Sinopec has independently developed a dedicated catalyst, and Zhenhai refining and chemical innovation and optimization in mixing, catalytic, heating and other systems. As early as 2009, Zhenhai Refinery launched research and development under the organization of the Ministry of Petrochemical Technology. In 2014, it obtained the first biological aviation coal airline certificate in my country. The cross -ocean flight from Beijing to Chicago, my country has become the country in Asia and the world's fourth country with independent research and development of biological aviation coal technology.

Compared with traditional petroleum aviation kerosene, biological aerospace coal life cycle carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by more than 50%. 1 ton of petroleum base navigation coal emissions 3.2 tons of carbon dioxide, and my country's current sailing coal consumption is about 30 million tons. 55 million tons, equivalent to nearly 500 million trees and more than 30 million economy cars for one year. R & D and promotion of biological aerospace coal is both a national strategy and an international trend.

As early as the Copenhagen Conference in 2009, my country had initiated a promise to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and actively take responsibility for all walks of life. In the same year, Sinopec launched the research and development of biological aviation coal and listed it as a key scientific research task. In 2012, the European Union launched EUETS (EU emission trading system). According to this bill, more than 4,000 airlines around the world will pay the EU carbon tax to pay the purchase cost for carbon emissions that exceed quotas. China Civil Aviation Administration also introduced guidance for joint energy and emission reduction.

In August 2020, China's first large -scale industrialization of biological aerospace coal was completed in Zhenhai. In August 2021, under the organization of Sinopec's Refining Division, Zhenhai Refining and Chemical launched the trial production of biological aerospace coal devices. In the "Fourteenth Five -Year Civil Aviation Green Development Special Plan", the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration proposed that sustainable aviation fuel consumption must reach 50,000 tons, and AVIC also included the application of biological aerospace coal in 2022 key tasks.

On May 10 this year, my country's first biological economy was introduced in five years. The plan pointed out that the development and cultivation of new types of biomass energy technology was carried out to promote the transformation of fossil energy to green low -carbon renewable energy. This is a positive signal for the promotion and application of biological aviation coal. In the same month, the Haikan Chemical Corporation of Sinopec was certified by the global sustainable biological material round table. This is the first global RSB certification certificate obtained by sustainable aviation fuels in my country, which will promote the self -developed biological aviation coal that my country has developed to go abroad, open the international market, and promote the industrialization and commercialization of sustainable aviation fuels.

At present, Zhenhai Refining has played a key role in promoting the construction of the entire industrial chain of the biological aerospace coal. On the raw material side, Zhenhai Refining and Chemotic contacted stable suppliers to prepare trench oil; on the market side, Zhenhai Refining and Chemical are actively developing domestic and international airline oil demand.
