Argentina International Relations Commission's Asian Affairs Commission Director, Herch Malena, said in an exclusive interview with Xinhua News Agency that the political and economic influence of the BRICS countries has become an important contributor to global development. The "BRICS+" cooperation model helps strengthen South -South cooperation and promote global governance democratization.

Malener believes that "BRICS+" provides new platforms for South -South cooperation and promotes more widespread cooperation with BRICS countries with other developing countries. The "BRICS+" cooperation condenses the power of emerging market countries and developing countries, helps to cope with the current global economy, improve international economic governance, and promote emerging market economies to become the driving force for sustainable recovery of the global economy.

Malener said that the "BRICS+" cooperation model provides channels for the resources required for emerging market countries and developing countries, which is conducive to solving problems such as the imbalance of world economic development. In addition, the "BRICS+" cooperation model advocates multilateralism and free trade, which has strongly promoted global governance democratization.
