Tian Renyong was born in a poor peasant family in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. At the age of 12, he went to Shanghai Silk Factory as a child worker. In 1930, because he couldn't stand the abuse of his work, he went to Hengfeng, Jiangxi to participate in the Red Army and became a "red little ghost". After joining the army, Tian Renyong fought bravely, and soon became the squad leader and long, and joined the Chinese Communist Youth League. In the autumn of 1933, Tian Renyong was transferred to the Political Department of the Red Army General Hospital as the secretary of the regiment branch. In November 1934, the Red Army began the Long March. In a battle, Tian Renyong lost contact with the team and returned to his hometown to work. After the outbreak of the Xi'an Incident, Tian Renyong got in touch with the troops and went to Yan'an to study in northern Shaanxi Shaanxi with the approval of the organization. In May 1938, the party organization sent him to work in the Nanchang New Fourth Army office, and later transferred to the Political Division of the Five Regiment of the Third Division of the New Fourth Army. In September, Tian Renyong joined the Communist Party of China. Later, he served as the Minister of Organization of the Pengze County Party Committee and the Political Commissar of the New Fourth Army Guerrilla Brigade.

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Tian Renyong went to work in the northeast, and served as the secretary of the Bai Caigou District Committee of Wangqing County, Wangqing County, the head of the district and the captain of the local land reform team. He led the people of all ethnic groups to carry out the land revolution campaign, "fighting landlords, dividing fields", and all ethnic groups turned farmers to participate in the army and support the front line. In October 1947, Tian Renyong was transferred to the secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Yanji County. After May 1948, he successively served as the secretary of the Wang Qing County Party Committee, Secretary of the Yanji County Party Committee, Secretary -General of the Yanbian District Committee and Minister of Organization Department and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. In December 1955, he served as Deputy Secretary and Deputy Governor of the Yanbian State Party Committee of the Communist Party of China. In December 1960, he served as Secretary and Deputy Governor of the State Party Committee Secretariat. At that time, it was during the period of national economic difficulties. He carefully implemented the central government's "adjustment, consolidation, enrichment, and improvement". In -depth investigations and research, we have raised food in many parties, and the people of Yanbian live together to spend three years of difficulties.

After 1977, Tian Renyong served as Deputy Secretary of the Yanbian State Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Second Secretary of Yanbian State Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC. Anyway, the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the development of Yanbian industrial and agricultural production, etc., have made important contributions. In March 1996, Tian Renyong died of illness.
