At the same time, the customs clearance environment of the port is also constantly optimizing and upgrading, improving quality and efficiency.

Xie Yuanhuai is 60 years old and joined the work in 1980. In November 1989, Xie Yuanhuai was transferred from the Guangzhou Border Inspection Station to Huanggang Border Inspection Station at the time to participate in the construction of the Huanggang Port.

He recalled that there were no funds or compilation in the early days of the establishment of the station. The office was borrowed. The personnel were transferred from the province's border defense system. "At that time, the working conditions were simple and the living environment was particularly difficult." When I remembered these, Xie Yuanhuai was still vivid.

With the efforts of Xie Yuanhuai and his colleagues, at the end of December 1989, Huanggang Port opened smoothly and passed the first Hong Kong truck. At that moment, Xie Yuanhuai burst into tears in the team. However, the just opened Huanggang port, the environment is still relatively simple. He recalled that the port was built at the time of 14 goods inspection channels, and the travel inspection channel was officially completed in 1991. "Personnel customs clearance is mainly artificially entered and manually checked. If there are many customs clearances such as holidays, it is necessary to line up, and the efficiency is not particularly high." He introduced.

The entrance hall and passenger car inspection venues will implement layered three -dimensional arrangement in the new joint inspection building. Shenzhen port development ushered in acceleration

According to the statistics of Shenzhen Customs, in 2021, the import and export of cargo trade in Shenzhen was 3.54 trillion yuan, a record high, an increase of 16.2%over 2020 (the same below).
