Development is the eternal theme of human society. At the end of the 1960s, I was a farmer in a small village in the Loess Plateau in China. Half a century later, I visited the hometown and saw that the folks were worried about eating, worry -free food, and a happy smile on my face.

The ancient Chinese said: "Cangxian is real and knows the rituals, and the food and disgrace are enough." In recent years, I have traveled to the towns and towns in China, and I have also visited many countries. I am deeply affected. Only by continuous development can the people's dream of life well -being and peaceful society.

For a long time, the majority of developing countries have made unremitting efforts to explore their own national conditions, achieve economic and social development, and achieve remarkable results. Emerging markets and developing countries have accounted for half of the global rivers and mountains, and they have also made great development in science and technology, education, society, culture and other fields.

At present, the new coronary pneumonia's epidemic has devoured the results of the world's years of development. The implementation process of the United Nations in 2030 was blocked. Some countries will develop issues politically and marginalized, engage in "small walls of small courtyards" and extreme tailoring, and artificially create division and confrontation. At the same time, the people of all countries seeking peace, seeking development, and promoting cooperation are stronger. The will of emerging market countries and developing countries is more firm. The new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial changes brings a broader opportunity to countries.

This is a challenging era, and also an era full of hope. We must recognize the general trend of the world, strengthen our confidence, and start, twist into a rope, riven a push, promote global development, and create a development pattern of inclusive balance, coordination tolerance, win -win cooperation, and common prosperity.

First, we must jointly consolidate the international consensus that promotes development. Only when the people of all countries live a good life, can prosperity last, security is guaranteed, and human rights have the foundation. We must put the development of the center of the international agenda, implement the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, and create a political consensus that everyone attaches great importance to development and cooperates with all countries.

Second, we must jointly create an international environment that is conducive to development. Protectiveism is self -binding of cocoons, and "small circles" will only beolate themselves. We must sincerely seek development, work together to promote development, build an open world economy, and build a more fair and reasonable global governance system and institutional environment.

Third, we must jointly cultivate new development of global development. Innovation is the first driving force for development. We must promote innovation in science and technology and systems, accelerate technological transfer and knowledge sharing, promote the development of modern industries, bridge digital gaps, accelerate low -carbon transformation, and promote stronger, green, and healthy global development.

Fourth, we must jointly build a global development partnership. Only by cooperation can do big things, do good things, and do long -term things. Developed countries must fulfill their obligations, developing countries must deepen their cooperation, and both sides of the north and south must do each other, and build a unity, equality, balance, and inclusive global development partnership, so as not to let any country and anyone fall behind. China has always been a member of the developing countries. Last year, I proposed a global development initiative at the UN General Assembly. We will take pragmatic measures to continue to support the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
