Yesterday (June 23), at the Lianhuo Expressway Toll Station, all the safety belts were used on the vehicle on the highway. In the process of investigation and punishment, the traffic police found that many vehicles ride people did not have the consciousness of seat belt, especially when the rear passengers were not tied to the seat belt. In more than an hour of operation, Xi'an high -speed traffic police inspected more than 80 vehicles, and the on -site penalties were corrected without using more than 50 seat belts as required.

Article 51 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law" stipulates: "When motor vehicles are driving, drivers and people should use seat belts in accordance with regulations." The traffic police said that when the highway was driving, the driver failed to use a fine of 200 yuan for a seat belt to get 1 point and a fine of 50 yuan by the person. More importantly, studies have shown that the use of seat belts can increase the survival rate of personnel in the car 60%when accidents occur.
