Zhang chose an e -sports hotel equipped with high -profile computers as the criminal goal. From September to November 2021, he went to a number of e -sports hotels in Daqing High -tech Zone to open a house, and opened more than 10 rooms in the name of live broadcast.

After theft, Zhang left the hotel while not paying attention. The hotel staff found that the computers in more than 10 rooms were opened when they checked the room. Although the display and the chassis were still there, the important accessories in the chassis were gone. The staff then called the police.

After investigation, the defendant Zhang used a screwdriver as a tool to work, stealing the computer accessories in the hotel room, a total of 35 main boards, computer CPUs, 109 memory, 109 graphics cards, 37 displays, mouse 32, 32 keyboards, 32 headsets, and 30 CPU fans, a total of more than 688,000 yuan.

The amount of theft was huge and prisoned for 11 years

The court tried that the defendant Zhang secretly stole the property of others with illegal possession, and the amount was particularly huge, and his behavior had constituted the crime of theft. In view of its frank plot and voluntarily pleaded guilty, some stolen goods were recovered and returned to the victims, so they could be punished lightly.
