North Hubei Engineering supports drought resistance of more than 66 million cubic meters since January

Since late May, Zaoyang City has continued to have high temperatures, drought has spread rapidly. Summer corn, peanuts, sesame and other crops can no longer emerge, and rice growth has also been affected to varying degrees.

In the face of continuous drought, a few days ago, the North Hubei project launched emergency drought resistance and water, and replenished Liuqiao Reservoir, Luoqiao Reservoir, Shahe and River River in Zaoyang City with 9 cubic meters per second. Mi is equivalent to the water volume of two medium -sized reservoirs to alleviate the drought conditions of Qifang Town, Xinglong Town, Wudian Town, and Wuwan Town of Zaoyang City.

At the same time, the initial operation of the section of the northern Hubei project in the East Hubei Engineering was also operated safely and orderly. It is planned to supply 10 million cubic meters of water to Guangshui City and Dawu County at the end of June to ensure the safety of farmland irrigation and the people of the people.

It is understood that since January this year, the North Hubei project has accumulated more than 6,600 million cubic meters of water to the project, and the initial operating benefits of the project have gradually emerged.
