A few days ago, the communication ceremony of the Buddhist pairing ceremony of Zhoushan City and Nantou County, Taiwan was held in the Guanyin Cultural Park. People in the Buddhist circles of the two places exchange Buddhist culture through online videos and narrate the friendship between the two sides of the strait. This is also the revival of the Buddhist cultural exchanges of Zhoutai after many years.

At the exchange activity site, the Zhoushan Buddhist Association and the Buddhist church of Nantou County, Taiwan, and the Nanhai Guanyin Zenlin in Putuo Mountain and Nantou County Dongfang Jingyuan were paired in pairs. Communication of Putuo Mountain Nanhai Guanyin Zen Forest and Nantou County Dongfang Jingyuan Online Exchange

Putuo Mountain is the dojo of the Guanyin Bodhisattva, with deep Buddhist cultural heritage. There are more than 4,000 Buddhist temples on the island of Taiwan, and Buddhist culture is also very prosperous. The intellectual Guanyin culture is an important resource for people in Zhoutai and the people of the two places in Zhoutai.

In September 2010, the "South China Sea Guanyin · Cihang Treasure Island" event was held in Zhoushan City, which worshiped more than 1,500 Guanyin treasures in all parts of Taiwan, causing great response. In May 2011, the "Pilu Guanyin · Fuyou Baodao" Buddhist cultural exchange activities were launched on both sides of the strait, becoming one of the highlights of the "Zhejiang and Taiwan Cultural Exchange Journey". The extensive visits and exchanges of Buddhist culture have enhanced the cultural identity of compatriots on both sides of the strait.

This year, a new feature of the Zhitai folk cultural exchanges is to Taiwan, counties, and grassroots. In the next step, the Buddhist community of Zhoushan will face the grassroots of Taiwan, to conduct mutual visits, exchange and mutual learning, and strive to create a new brand of cross -strait exchanges.
