In recent years, the provincial financial focus has actively supported the reform of the scientific and technological reward system from three aspects: "expansion, bidding, and optimization", and promoting more high -quality scientific and technological innovation results to continue to emerge. The first is to improve the award category and expand the scope of awards. On the basis of the original Natural Science Award, Technology Invention Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award, it supports the establishment of the Youth Award of Science and Technology. The total amount of rewards increased from more than 140 in 2018 to the current 300 items, and more scientific research projects and talents were rewarded. The second is to increase bonus standards and increase investment intensity. At present, the provincial science and technology highest prize prize money has reached 3 million yuan per person, and the prize prizes of first, second, and third prizes are 300,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan, and 100,000 yuan, respectively. The award standards are among the first echelons in the provinces and cities across the country. The scale of reward funds increased from 16.3 million yuan in 2017 to 57.6 million yuan in 2022, with an average annual increase of 28.7%. The third is to optimize the incentive orientation and improve the quality of scientific research. Focus on the major needs of new and old kinetic energy conversion, focus on strengthening key core technologies, major basic research and other aspects of scientific and technological rewards guidance, and promote the production of more "0 to 1" original results.
