On the morning of September 28, the Propaganda Department of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China held a special press conference of the Provincial Energy Bureau of the "Shanxi Ten Years" series of theme press conferences.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, new energy and renewable energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaic power generation in Shanxi have achieved leapfrog development. The scale of installed capacity and the proportion of power generation has steadily increased, the energy structure has gradually optimized, and the industrial advantages have continued to increase.

The resources and regions of Shanxi determine that in the new energy system, wind power and photovoltaic are the main body and pumping storage. The 12th Party Congress of the Provincial Party proposed that by the end of the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan", the capacity of new energy and clean energy installations accounted for 50%, and the total target of 30%of the power generation reached 30%.

In the next step, Shanxi will focus on the development of two aspects to continue to promote the development of new energy and renewable energy:

In terms of wind power photovoltaic, on the one hand, focusing on the large -scale development of wind and photovoltaic power generation bases, planning and construction of the Jinbei Fengguang Fire Integration Base, Xin Shuo Duo Energy Complex Comprehensive Energy Base, Jinxi along the Huangbaili Scenery Base, and Jindong "New Energy+"integration development base, Jinnanyuan network lotus storage integrated demonstration base. On the other hand, optimize the distributed development of wind power and photovoltaic power generation, promote the application of new energy in industrial, construction, transportation and other fields, and promote the integration and development of new energy development and utilization with rural revitalization.

In terms of energy storage construction, we insist on pumping water storage as the main direction of promoting energy storage, and strive to start construction of 2-3 energy storage power stations each year from next year. The energy storage capacity that is about 10 million kilowatts and is compatible with the power supply structure is basically adapted to the installation of new energy.
