On September 27, the Mianyang Ecological and Environment Bureau held a third -quarter routine press conference in the city. At the meeting, the environmental quality status of Mianyang City was notified in the third quarter.

From January to September 2022, the quality of the ecological environment of our city was generally good. The quality of the environmental air, the quality of the Minjiang and the main tributaries remained stable, and the water quality of the municipal and county-level centralized drinking water sources continued to reach the standard.

Environmental air quality

In the third quarter of this year, especially in July to August, due to the high pressure of the subtropical high pressure, extreme high temperature and strong radiation weather in the province, a large-scale oxygen pollution process occurred.

The city works together to overcome the influence of extremely unfavorable weather conditions, and the improvement of air quality has achieved good results.

The provincial monitoring station predicts that the city is polluted for 33 days, and the actual pollution is 11 days. It has worked hard to return 22 excellent days without severe and above pollution.

Water environmental quality

The Minjiang and its main tributaries have a total of 32 surface water monitoring sections, and the 32 broken surfaces are excellent water bodies, and the excellent water quality rate is 100%.

Twenty surface water monitoring sections included in the national and provincial assessment, the excellent water quality rate is 100%.

The city's two city -level centralized drinking water sources, nine county -level centralized drinking water sources, and the standard rate of water quality is 100%.

Compared with the same period last year, the water quality of centralized drinking water sources has not changed significantly, and all continued to meet the standards.

Sound environment quality

The daily and night standard rates of sound areas 1, 2, and 3 are 100%.

Compared with the same period last year, the day -to -day standard rate was flat, and the night -night standard rate rose by 16.7 percentage points.
