It is understood that the S5 line of the Chengmei Municipal Railway starts from Honglian Station of Chengdu Rail Transit Line 19 and ends at Meishan East Station, with a total investment of about 22.1 billion yuan. The total length of the line is about 59 kilometers, of which about 19 kilometers in the Chengdu section, and the Meishan section is about 40 kilometers. There are 13 stations along the way, with a design operation speed of 160 km/h. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026.

From the north to southwest, it is Honglian Station, Qinhuang Temple Station, Xinglonghu West Station, Jiancha Station, Cultural and Creative City Station, Shi Gao Station, Nanyianfu Park Station, Ledigan Station, Heilongtan Station, Yidong New District Station, Meishan North Station , Music Plaza Station, Mei Shandong Station. The vehicle adopts 4 types of car in the city, with a maximum operating speed of 160km/h.

The construction period of the project will be 51 months old, and Mengliang Shandong will be commuting for 30 minutes to Chengdu. At that time, it will only be 15 minutes to see Gao Station to Xinglonghu West Station.

The S5 Line of the Chengmei City Railway is the key project in the National "Multi -level Rail Transit Planning of the Shuangcheng Economic Circle of Chengdu -Chongqing Area".
