Unlock new features

The current third -generation social security card is based on the existing borrowing books, medical purchases, identity vouchers, and receiving benefits, etc., and adds epidemic prevention verification functions. Citizens can hold the third -generation social security card (electronic social security card) to read information through the hospital gate, and automatically complete the health code inspection work, showing the state of health code. At present, 68 hospitals in Chongqing have successfully applied this function.

More than 60 ICBC cooperation outlets in the city have fully realized the "same number of cards" business. This means that citizens can replace social security cards to retain the original bank card number.

More than 400 social banking cooperation outlets in the city have realized the "one window settlement" of card replacement and social security account maintenance. The first batch of cooperation banks that have opened this business include Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, Construction Bank, Rural Commercial Bank, and Postal Savings Bank Social Banking Cooperation Outlets. It is expected that at the end of this year Social security cards will open the business one after another.
