The 5th National Music Oral History Symposium was held at Jimei University

On the morning of September 24, the opening ceremony of the 5th National Music Oral History Symposium was held at Jimei University. This academic seminar was co -organized by the Chinese Modern Cultural Society Oral History Committee and Jimei University, organized by the National Music Oral History Society, the College of Music of Jimei University, and co -organized by the Xiamen Musician Association and Cui Yongyuan Oral History Research Center of China Media University.

The theme of this seminar is "Study on the Study on Music Oral History and Local Music History and Music Education History". It is held by combining online and offline. Experts and scholars from more than 50 universities across the country gather together.

Shen Chanhuang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jimei University, extended his speech on behalf of the school. He pointed out that the history of musical oral oral history is not only a special form of recording the history of music, but also an important way for art inheritance and protection. Especially in the new era, the history of music oral history must play a more important role in telling Chinese stories, spreading Chinese voices, promoting Chinese culture, and continuing to write a new chapter in music oral history.
