BMW also "do mobile games", do you dare to believe it? On June 22, the cover news learned from the BMW Group that with the official opening of the large -scale upgrade project of BMW Brilliance's BMW production base, its game version- "Fresh Trial Version" of the "BMW iFactory Experience" was also on June 22 Day is officially launched.
This is the first time that BMW has presented its most advanced car manufacturing process in the form of 3D games. It uses an immersive digital experience to tell how a BMW car was born from scratch.
First of all, the "BMW iFactory Experience Tour" is not just a simulation of a certain building or a production link. On the contrary, its huge map covers almost almost every corner of about 3 million square meters of factory districts. For example, in the exchange center, players can visit the factory office environment; in the stamping workshop, players can understand how a metal steel plate becomes a body sheet metal part and feels the shock of the metal collision; in the painting workshop, players can choose according to their preferences to choose Car color; and in the assembly workshop, players can observe the assembly of car parts up close. The new BMW i3 acts as the "car model" in all scenes in the game. This new factory is also the only place in the world for the new BMW i3.
In order to allow more people to participate in the game, the "BMW iFactory Experience" adopts a convenient "cloud game mode". Players do not need to download to the local installation. Instead, they can enter the game by scanning the QR code or clicking on the game icon in my BMW App. It is worth mentioning that the "BMW iFactory Experience Tour" was independently developed by the IT engineer team of Brilliance.
In fact, the birth of the "BMW iFactory Experience" is not accidental, because the Rida factory follows the principle of "lean, green, and digitalization" of the BMW iFactory strategy. From the beginning, it was designed and simulated in the virtual environment. Whether it is the planning, building design, production line layout or equipment debugging, all of them have established digital twin models and simulated.
Virtual planning has greatly improved the speed, accuracy and efficiency of factory construction. The physical planning time of this new factory has been greatly shortened, which has improved efficiency while saving resources.
