Xiangshan Hotel shows the Chinese garden landscape

To write this well -known contemporary garden planning and design expert, it is impossible to turn around the Xiangshan Hotel's courtyard design that she cooperates with the American architecture master Pei Mingming. Since then, Xiangshan Hotel has become the Garden of Eden in my dream.

Although it was close at hand, he had not moved the idea of ​​being there. One day this summer, I accidentally entered this classic garden victory.

At this time, I was in the face of the natural wonderland of the masters to write this text. Outside the window is the lush Xiangshan and a loose tree growing at Xiangyang. The white goose and black duck came out of the pool water one after the other, and strolled freely and pecking the grass freely on the pure natural grass. On the rocking chair under the tree, the tenants came and left. Although it is three volts, it is cool here.

This year, it is the 40 -year commemorative of Xiangshan Hotel. On the promotion board in the lobby of the hotel, the puzzlement of Pei Mingming and Xiangshan Hotel introduced. What is advancing with the times is that the robot can take you around and promote the well -known attractions in the hotel.

Xiangshan Hotel is one of the masterpieces hosted by Mr. Pei Mingming, a well -known American architectural designer internationally renowned. The Louvre of France is a milestone in the history of design. The Suzhou Museum he designed is also remarkable. The Xiangshan Hotel in front of him is like his simple and bright design style, classical and modern strict seams, and the environment and architecture are integrated.

This is not an ordinary four -star restaurant, but a good realm of Chinese classical architectural art, garden art, and environmental art. The hotel is located in the famous Xiangshan Park. According to the royal monument, there is a heavy human atmosphere in the air. A tourist told me that the cause of the epidemic was difficult to travel, and the Xiangshan Hotel became her best choice for her rest. The water is new and the scenery is natural, and it is a good realm of leisure tourism and aerobic fitness.

If Mr. Bei is still alive, it should be 105 years old. When he was 17 years old, he went to study in the United States and studied architecture at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard. He has won the highest award in the international architectural industry and is known as "the last master of modern architecture". The American architectural community announced 1979 the "year of Pei Ming". His architectural career is in the United States and Europe, but he bluntly stated that Chinese poems, paintings, and gardens are the source of his design inspiration. He is committed to exploring a road of modernization in China. He said that the root of Chinese architecture is traditional, but the buds should be new.

Xiangshan Hotel is full of historical atmosphere. It was originally the Palace of the Kangxi Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. The Emperor Qianlong was expanded into "Xu Langzhai" on the basis of this, which is one of the 28 scenes of Jingyi Garden. On March 25, 1949, the Policy Research Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the editor -in -chief department of Xinhua News Agency, and the first bureau of the Central Military Commission's operations department had been working here. In 1979, with the approval of the original building and site by the State Council, Xiangshan Hotel broke the soil.

This is the first high -end restaurant in the famous park after the reform and opening up of China. In addition, the brand effect of the designer as an international master architect, which caused a sensation at the time, attracted much attention.

The design of Xiangshan Hotel is also of extraordinary significance for Pei Mingming, a world famous teacher. The reason why he did not design a high -rise building in Beijing, but was positioned in a four -story building with a height of 285 rooms, and wanted to make Chinese buildings go to the world. In his opinion, there are two roots in Chinese architecture. One is royal architecture. It has reached its peak and is difficult to break through; the other root is Chinese houses. The original intention of designing the Xiangshan Hotel was to combine the creativity and symbols of Chinese houses with modern architecture. The second is to design a garden -style hotel to combine architecture and natural ecological environment.

"Xiangshan Hotel is one of the hardest projects I have experienced." In the design, Pei Mingming changed the entrance of the traditional south and expanded the area of ​​the main garden. In order to protect the original trees, including two ginkgo trees with hundreds of years, the guest rooms are as symmetrically distributed. In addition to the main garden, there are 11 more private pocket gardens.

Mr. Pei Mingming, I missed each other, but Tan Xin is a more familiar master. When I interviewed her in the garden design of Xiangshan Hotel, I was drunk, but I couldn't see it with my own eyes. Today, in the courtyard of the Xiangshan Hotel, the grass, one wood, a brick and a stone in front of them are all about the unforgettable anecdotes.

The civil engineering of Xiangshan Hotel has exceeded half, but the supporting garden design has not yet settled. Mr. Bei is famous for its architectural design, but it is not built in Chinese gardens. He entrusted the then Beijing garden design to make up for white. Some old -qualified designers are worried that they are not good at cooperating with their identities and unwilling to invite them, so that Tan Xin, who is not confused, has the opportunity to take responsibility.

She pulled her legs to Xiangshan. Looking at the hot construction site, she secretly made up her mind: not only to make up for white, but also to design the distinctive characteristics of the Chinese garden. In just a week, her design scheme was passed on to the United States. Mr. Bei quickly recovered: This is what I want!

Tan Xin was calm as he could get the master's first willingness to get the masters. She knows this design is not the same. With the "teacher", if you are a tiger, a little carelessness will affect the reputation of China's garden design in the world. She surveyed over and over again, repeatedly chewing the essence of Pei Mingming's design thoughts, and racking her brain to decorate the Xiangshan Hotel in Chinese exquisite and traditional gardening methods.

Master Daibei is not easy. Tan Xin designed the main scene of "Qing Yinquan" into a 9 -meter rockery, but Mr. Bi suddenly instructed to stop work. Tan Xin thought, there is no rockery, what Chinese garden. She knew that Mr. Bei was worried that the design level was not high and he was clumsy. She did not change her original intention, and the design was unchanged. It was when the maple leaf was red, and Mr. Bi came to the construction site again, and was deeply moved by the three -dimensional natural landscape painting in front of him. He praised: "It's great, it's great." Today, 40 years later, the Xiangshan Hotel is still low -key, luxurious, and connotative. Standing in the lobby, looking at it, the undulating mountains highlight the big pattern and atmospheric faction. Qingyinquan fell down three, and the water valleys in the stream were cleverly worked. Qu Shuliu retains the monuments created by the emperor, and Begonia Huaowu is already full of trees. The garden is not large, but it condenses the essence of Chinese gardens.

Compared to other gardens with Chinese characteristics, the garden of Xiangshan Hotel has no special advantages. But Tan Xin brought the natural advantages to the extreme. She cleverly used Xiangshan's mountains, mountain spring, Songtao, Linhai. In the garden, she designed 18 attractions, and she was full of strong humanistic colors.

Xiangshan Hotel White Mud Wall, is the Suzhou -style building of Pei Mingming's ancestors. He boldly designed a white wall of ten meters high. Tan Xin cleverly designed a red water, next to a tall oil pine. Under the sunny sun, the shadows on the wall, the shadow on the ground, and the shadow in the water are interesting, making this white wall not only abnormal, but also three -dimensional agility. One tree has three shadows, which can be called garden wonders.

Tan Xin's garden design started, not only was it affirmed by Mr. Bei, but also won the first prize of Beijing Architectural Art in one fell swoop, and loaded the history of Beijing Garden Construction.

Then, Tan Xin dedicated a large number of design works. The design of Huaxia Famous Pavilion, Tianhua Garden, Beijing Botanical Garden, Minghuang City Gen Park, Yuan Dadu Chengyuan Site Park, and Puhe River Park have won national awards. In 2018, she donated 10 million yuan to set up a "Xin Fund" at Beijing Forestry University to directly promote the development of high -educational undertakings in landscape gardens.

Today, Xiangshan Hotel Design Master Pei Mingming has been on the west. Garden designer Tan Xin, I haven't seen it for many years. But I know that in his heart, he must have been thinking about the architecture and garden under the foot of Xiangshan. For me, this is just a past. For them, this is a glorious history. Here, I see cultural self -confidence and see the Chinese spirit!

I don't understand architecture and gardens, and I have written a lot of layman. In a hurry, I failed to taste the mystery in the garden. The level is limited and it is difficult to accurately express the inner feelings. However, I still boldly wrote this text, not to express personal emotions, but to pay tribute to nature, pay tribute to the environment, pay tribute to Xiangshan, pay tribute to the classics, and pay tribute masters.

Mu Xinxin started flowing with glory, water trickle. Although people who come here do not necessarily know the people and stories behind architecture and gardens, history knows, heaven and earth knows, landscape knows, and grass and trees.

When the red leaves of Manshan are in the mountains, the Xiangshan Hotel will meet again.
