Realizing sustainable goals require sustainable way

The more facing the huge and complicated problems, the more important the correct solution is. Even if the wish is good, the unsustainable way cannot achieve the predetermined goals.

The "dual carbon" goal brings "carbon reduction" pressure on various places and industries. However, under the circumstances where technical conditions are not yet mature, "carbon reduction" often depends on reduction of production. Under the impulse, some regions simply shut down high -carbon enterprises or restricted production, so that the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee has to specifically emphasize "correcting sports -carbon reduction ', and it is broken first."

In this context, the start of the carbon emissions trading market is particularly important. More market -oriented means to increase the production and operation costs of high carbon emissions industries, increase the profit expectations of enterprises for low -carbon economic activities, forced them to increase their investment and use of energy -saving technology, and gradually adjust them suddenly rather than sudden adjustments. Economic and business structure, so as to achieve orderly decline in carbon intensity and avoid "closed it."

Compared with simple administrative means, market methods can make companies choose more flexible and lower cost reduction paths, while promoting more capital to enter the field of renewable energy, and enhance the overall competitiveness of China's renewable energy industry chain.

It can be said that the way of marketization is a sustainable "carbon reduction" method.

Internationally, the carbon market is already a "carbon reduction" mechanism. According to the global carbon emission market development report released by the International Carbon Operations Partnership (ICAP), at present, the carbon trading mechanism that accounts for 42 % of the global GDP is now covering 9 % of the global greenhouse gas emissions. The jurisdiction of the carbon market covers the world. Nearly 1/6 population.

In 2021, once China's carbon emissions trading market was launched, it became the largest carbon market in global greenhouse gas emissions. Within half a year after opening, the cumulative transaction volume of the national carbon market has reached 179 million tons, which has obviously reached its degree of activity.

The first batch of carbon markets were included in more than 2,000 key emission units in the power generation industry. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment pointed out that the carbon emissions of power generation companies accounted for a relatively high effect on controlling carbon emissions in my country. In addition, the overall management level of the power generation industry is relatively high, and the relevant technologies and data foundations are good. Based on the power generation industry as the breakthrough, it can further accumulate experience and promote the gradual improvement of my country's carbon market.

2021 is the first year of the carbon market in China. During the "14th Five -Year Plan" period, as the carbon emission right trading market gradually matures, it is expected that seven key energy consumption industries such as petrochemical, chemical industry, and building materials will gradually be included in it. The scale of my country's carbon market, the pricing power in international carbon transactions, and the contribution of "carbon reduction" will be further prominent.
