On June 20, in the Fangcao Lake Ecological Park of the Yili River National Wetland Park in Yining, a pair of wart nose swan took seven babies in the water for food and sometimes dragged water.

In recent years, with the continuous increase in ecological environmental protection in Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, the ecological environment has become increasingly improved. Every year in winter and spring, the Yili River National Wetland Park will attract a large number of migratory birds to migrate.

Yili Prefecture strictly protects natural wetlands, scientifically restores degenerative wetlands, actively expands the wetland area, strives to improve the wetland protection and governance system, continuously improves governance capabilities, and plays a greater role in improving the ecology and improving people's livelihood.

Last year, Yili Prefecture implemented the implementation of 7 wetland protection recovery projects, with a total investment of 25.42 million yuan, completed 1188.37 acres of degenerate wetland, and 5,000 acres of wet herds, so that the wetland ecological protection and repair capabilities have been significantly improved. At the same time, through continuous strengthening of wetland protection, restoration, regulatory law enforcement, and publicity and education, it has further improved the level of ecological environment governance in Ili Prefecture.

During the "Thirteenth Five -Year Plan" period, the wetland protection work in Yili Prefecture achieved remarkable results, and 656.94 hectares were repaired by the degenerate wetland.

At the end of the construction period of the "14th Five -Year Plan", Yili Prefecture made the protection rate of more than 55%of the Zhizhou straight wetland, promote the high -quality development of the state's straight ecological environment, enhance the transformation of ecological and economic benefits, and realize the harmonious symbiosis of man and nature.

The Yili River Valley is a "wet island" in the arid area of the Asia -Europe continent. Here, the river channels, many beaches, rich waterweeds, and fertile land. They have both beautiful snow peaks and glaciers, as well as handsome rivers, and enjoys the reputation of "the south of the river".
