In 2017, Tan Ting began to prepare for a judicial examination. This exam is very difficult, and it is even more difficult for Tan Ting, who across professional laws. One week before the judicial examination in 2020, the mother was diagnosed with advanced cancer. This bad news caused Tan Ting to collapse. Tan Ting's father left the world in 2015 because of cancer, and her mother was her most important spiritual reliance.

Tan Ting's husband is her college classmate and a deaf. When the baby cries at night, because neither of them can hear the sound, they can only take turns to change to sleep.
