Old traffic workers remember the past

A few days ago, the Time Team of Putian College went to Nanxi Village, Revolutionary Base Village, Bangtou Town, Xianyou County, and visited Chen Qingjin, an 93 -year -old old traffic staff, and collected records of his stories in the revolution in the war of liberation.

Chen Qingjin was wearing a dark Zhongshan dress, a gray peaked cap, sitting on a bamboo bench at the door, and a crutch leaning against the wall. When he saw town cadres and volunteers coming, he was inconvenient to meet.

Nanxi Village is located 3 kilometers northwest of the Government of Banguan Town. The mountains and rivers are beautiful and the climate is mild. It is the base village of the old revolutionary district.

In the autumn of 1948, in order to strengthen the armed struggle in the Xianyou area, the CPC Middle -Earth Commission sent Lin Chunnian, Liu Zongfu and others to return to Xianyou to carry out revolutionary work. They have established revolutionary strongholds in the list of the Eastern District, Yangshan, Nanxi, Qinshan and other places, developed a number of farmers 'backbones, and formed some farmers' organizations, laying the foundation for the establishment of the Eastern guerrillas.

Chen Qingjin was born in 1929 and his family was poor. In October 1948, 19 -year -old Chen Qingjin joined the revolutionary team as an important reserve force of the revolution and became an underground transporter.

Chen Qingjin's task is to send the important letters that need to be conveyed in the organization to the hands of the superiors.

In early 1949, the Kuomintang reactionary government levied food, taxes, and troops in its ruling district in order to cope with the war in front of it. In February of the same year, the Kuomintang Xianyou County Government launched a "three signs" in the county, making the people struggling on the hunger and cold line. At the same time, the CCP's Fujian -China Working Committee proposed the strategic policy of "letting go of development and bold attacks", actively organized the masses to carry out struggle and crushed the "three signs" plan of the Kuomintang authorities. From mid -February, the party organizations and guerrillas in various districts of Xianyou have launched the masses extensively, ignited the flames, and set off the anti -"three signs" struggle.

After the Kuomintang's "three signs" was blocked, the county's self -defense brigade was immediately transferred to assist in the implementation of the "three signs" with force. In response to this new struggle, the Communist Party of China has adopted the struggle strategy of both tattooing and public struggle, and randomly strain and flexibly change the tactics, and quickly established a liaison network in various townships. All townships pass on intelligence, and each other is a horn.

Chen Qingjin took the danger discovered by the Kuomintang, adhered to the post of traffic workers, and provided valid intelligence and communication between the Communist Party organizations and folks to transfer positions.

"As the number of sending letters increases, my experience is rich, the roads are familiar, and the task of sending the letter is completed faster and better." Chen Qingjin recalled the past. In April 1949, on the third day after the armed riots of the list, the local local authorities of the Kuomintang failed unwillingly. They sent the County Self -Defense Force to the list and went to Nanxi in Nanxi in the guerrilla team. After the "cleaning", the Self -Defense Force raid Nanxi Village again in mid -May, drove the masses into the ancestral hall, and set up machine guns around him to force the masses to hand over the guerrilla leaders. In order to rescue the masses and crack down on the enemy, the Eastern District guerrillas were divided into two roads and began to attack all the way in Shizhen Palace to attract the enemy. The other guerrillas were ambush in the onions of Nanxi Village in the Self -Defense Force. When the Self -Defense Force passed, the guerrillas launched an offense. Although there were many self -defense teams, they were caught by the guerrillas and were defeated. This ambush war fought the prestige of the Eastern Guerrilla, and the fight against "clearance" won.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chen Qingjin gradually improved through his own hard work and efforts. Chen Qingjin and his wife had three children and four daughters.

In 1985, 56 -year -old Chen Qingjin received a policies from the government's preferential treatment of the "Five Olds of the Revolution" and obtained the "Five Elderly Certificate of Revolutionary Revolution in Fujian Province".

Since then, Chen Qingjin has led the revolutionary "five old" life subsidy funds every month and has been living in the countryside. Today, 93 years old, he is still very energetic.
