The Baoshan Iron Mine in Jingning Dai Autonomous County was originally a state -owned selection enterprise. As the reserves of iron ore gradually depleted, the difficulty of mining increased. In 2015, Baoshan Iron Mine stopped, and the broken walls and remnants left by abandoned mines caused severe damage to the surrounding ecological environment.

In 2018, the Jingning County Party Committee and County Government attracted the private investment of 1.5 billion yuan to build the city of the cloud · Sky City, and played the characteristics and location advantages of the mine. The former abandoned mine was built into an immersive mine landscape group. The first phase of the project was put into trial operation in January 2022, attracting tourists from all over the country to come here to play, and the successful transformation of mineral resources to ecological resources and tourism resources.

Na Yun · Sky City Project uses the characteristics and location advantages of the mines. It takes the cliff as the pulse, the hole as the basis, and the water as the source, to refine the Dai culture, and build the former abandoned mines into an immersive mining landscape group.

After the Baoshan Iron Mine was stopped in 2015, the broken walls and mountains left by abandoned mines seemed to be "scars" engraved with the green mountains, which caused severe damage to the surrounding ecological environment.
