Tian Shili's fruits can also be used as medicine for treatment of chest and abdominal distension and stomach pain. "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" contains: "》 Luo Zi (Tian Shili) Gan, warm; returning to the liver, stomach meridian, wide qi, and stomach pain."
