On September 13, the President of the Fifteenth Meeting (COP15) Chairman of the Convention on the Convention on the Biological Diversity (COP15) attended the online meeting of the similar biological diversity of the Biological Diversity (LMMC) and gave an opening speech.

LMMC is an important group in the field of biological diversity protection. Its member states play a key role in the "Global Biological Diversity Framework" (hereinafter referred to as "framework") in the negotiations of "Framework Framework of 2020". Invited by the current chairman of LMMC, Ethiopia, China, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Iran, Madagascar, Peru, Venezuela and other national representative videos. The meeting conducted exchanges and discussions on matters such as the second -stage meeting of the COP15, the LMMC's common position in the "framework" goals, and the drafting of the LMMC Declaration on the COP15 to reach an agreement on the COP15.

China said that LMMC biological diversity and related traditional knowledge are the key forces in the process of the "Biological Diversity Convention", which plays a leading role in the process of formulation of the "framework"; it is recommended to strengthen communication and coordination. Looking for solutions, we find a common position to the greatest extent. In order to ensure the final formation of a "framework" with ambition and pragmatic, it shows the world's clear signal of LMMC supporting COP15 to achieve success.

As the chairman of COP15, China will continue to support LMMC and other developing countries to play an active role in negotiations and contribute to the global biodiversity protection process.
