Francisco Lakamela, Director -General of the International Renewable Energy Department, said that although there are many challenges around the world, renewable energy employment is still flexible, and it has proven to be a reliable engine to create employment opportunities. He suggested that governments in various countries implement various industrial policies and encourage more renewable energy jobs in China.
The report pointed out that China is the leading solar photovoltaic board manufacturing and installation country, and offshore wind power is creating more and more employment opportunities. Europe currently accounts for about 40%of global wind power equipment manufacturing capacity, and is the most important exporter of wind power equipment.
