The State Administration of Market Supervision released the "National Standard Administration Measures"

CCTV News: Recently, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration released the revised "National Standard Administrative Measures" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures") and will be officially implemented on March 1, 2023.

In order to implement the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Standardization Law"), the "National Standardization Development Outline" and the State Council's "Deepening Standardization Work Reform Plan", regulate the formulation, implementation and supervision of national standards, and the Organization of the General Administration of Market Supervision. The original "Measures" was revised. The revision of the Measures mainly includes the following four aspects. First, in order to implement the construction of the national standard system, based on the newly revised "Standardization Law", combined with the practice of national standardization work, the specific scope of national standards was adjusted. The second is to regulate the formulation and management of national standards, which further clarifies the work requirements of the national standard formulation procedures and the work of each stage. Third, in order to meet the growing standards of standards and improve the internationalization level of the standard, it clarifies new requirements for national standards in terms of revised procedures, organizational management, and supervision. Fourth, in order to promote the effective implementation of national standards, it further improves the feedback mechanism and standard update mechanism from implementation to formulation.

After the "Measures" is promulgated and implemented, more effective working mechanisms and practices will be formed in terms of national standard management, implementation promotion, etc., and better support and ensure the development of national standards.
