On September 21, the Zigong Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued the "Reminder and Warning Book on Food operators who must not sell food packaging and labeling betel nut products", requiring Zigong Food operators to remove betel nuts and betel nut products.

It is understood that, in view of the high security risks of chewing betel nut, the State Administration of Market Supervision has made it clear that "should no longer be supervised by food by food".And betel nut products must not be marked with food logos according to the pre -packaged food standards.
