The new metropolitan section of the Chengmian high -speed expansion project is expected to be opened to traffic by the end of next year

Today, the reporter learned from the Xindu District that the new metropolitan section of the Chengmian high -speed expansion project has been comprehensively promoted, and 6 standard sections of highway construction have been working in more than 2,400 construction workers. As of now, the new capital section has completed nearly 50%of the total project volume. It is expected that by the end of 2023, the Chengmian high -speed capacity expansion project will be opened to traffic.

As the third highway from Chengdu to Mianyang City, the Chengmian high -speed expansion project is the first highway with a two -way eight -lane technology standard with a two -way eight -lane technology standard.

About 40 kilometers from Deyang to Chengdu are built with all high bridges, and about 24 kilometers between Chengdu around the city and the two rounds of the two -way section and the existing Jinqing Expressway Corridor. It is understood that as one of the composition routes of the Cangba Expressway, the project is about 124.99 kilometers in length and starts with Weicheng Town, Youxian District, Mianyang City, and is connected with the proposed G5 Beijing -Kunming Expressway Guangyuan to Mianyang section expansion project. And communicate with Mianyang to Cangxi Expressway hub, via Luo River, Zhongjiang, Jingyang, Guanghan, Qingbaijiang, Jintang, and Xindu, which ends on the Chengdu Ring Expressway and connected to the main road of Longtan Road in the city to Chenghua Avenue.
