Nine major plateau lakes are an important part of the Yunnan ecosystem, which are arduous and complicated to protect and govern the tasks. During the Yunnan period, the research team focused on the protection and management of Qihu Lake and Erhai Lake, and went to Yuxi City and Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture to inspect the stains in the basin, the improvement of water quality in the lake in the lake, water ecological repair, agricultural face source pollution treatment Waiting for the situation, the "Science and Technology Council" led by Zhang Fu Suo, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and jointly studied the difficulties and cracking ideas faced with local cadres and scientific researchers.

Ding Zhongli emphasized that it is necessary to fully understand the systemic, complexity and long -term nature of the protection of plateau lakes. From the perspective of protection and governance, grasp the hydrological characteristics of different lakes, find the cause of pollution, and accurately grasp the total amount of pollutants, composition and changes in lakes. Do it to adapt to local conditions and classified policies. It is necessary to focus on the long -term, based on local reality, scientifically and reasonably set up governance goals, adopt economic and applicable measures, promote the solution of the problem of sewage interception and pollution in the basin, and ensure long -term management. It is necessary to adhere to the governance of the lake, strengthen the source governance, and use biological governance technology and other to intercept water purification and ecological repair, and continuously improve the quality of the lake into the lake. It is necessary to give full play to the role of science and technology and talents, promote key technologies and key application demonstrations, and actively help the protection and management of plateau lakes.
