Martyr Wang Pu

Wang Pu (1921-1949), also known as Wang Lanjun, member of the Communist Party of China, was born in Jiangbei County, Chongqing (now Yubei District, Chongqing City). In 1944, he studied at Fudan University and actively participated in the work of the "Chinese Student Herald" led by the party during the school, thereby embarking on the road of revolution. He has founded Lianhua Elementary School and Lianhua Middle School. In 1946, he joined the Communist Party of China. In 1947, he served as a member of the Chongqing North District Working Committee of the Communist Party of China and was responsible for propaganda and united front work. He also mobilized his mother to sell the home of home, regarding the money as the party's activities, and setting up a South China Trading Company in Chongqing according to the party's instructions. In April 1948, Wang Pu was arrested and detained in the White Mansion Prison. On October 28, 1949, Wang Pu was shot and killed in Daping (now Yuzhong District, Chongqing City) at the age of 28.

Wang Pu brought his mother Jin Yonghua and his wife Chu Qun from the prison. He ordered his mother to "follow the school forever" and "continue to support the school". This school is Lianhua Middle School and asked his mother to go with the party forever.
