Sichuan Yaxi Machine Factory (hereinafter referred to as Yaxi Factory) has a glorious history. As a national second -level enterprise, it is one of the few provincial state -owned enterprises in Leshan.

The Yaxi Factory was founded in 1942 and its predecessor was a private factory.

In February 1942, Zhang Qingbo, a celebrity in the engineering industry, came to Leshan to unite the two small machine stores, the formation of the United and Lianyi, and the prototype of the Yaxi Factory was born, commonly known as factories in western Asia. In 1952, the Asian West Factory and Peking University Machine Factory merged into the "Sichuan State -owned Asian West Rail Factory". In October 2001, the Yaxi Factory applied for bankruptcy restructuring and was accepted by the people's court to enter the bankruptcy procedure. In November 2002, after auction of the court according to law, Yaxi Factory was acquired by Sichuan Guozhong Investment Co., Ltd., transferred to private enterprises, and renamed "Sichuan Yaxi Rubber Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd.".
