It is understood that in terms of water environment management and protection and repair, Wuhan has made a lot of exploration, so that the water quality of the river and lakes in Wuhan has improved. According to data released by the Wuhan Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, from January to August this year, the water quality of the Wuhan Yangtze River section and Yangsi Port monitoring section was category Ⅱ. Compared with the same period in 2021, the water quality was in a stable state. In the past three years, the water quality of the Wuhan section of the Yangtze River has continued to maintain excellent, and it has stabilized in category II for a long time.

In this regard, experts from the Municipal Ecological Environment Monitoring Center introduced that maintaining the existing excellent state of the overall water quality of the Yangtze River is not a simple matter. It takes a long time to last for a long time. If you want to improve the overall water quality on the basis of existing, it will take longer and more effort. This is also the original intention of the relevant national ministries and commissions to continue to promote the protection and repair of the Yangtze River. At the same time, the "Action Plan" emphasizes the need to further promote the rectification of sewage discharge ports in the Yangtze River, study and formulate the pollution -mouthed oral rectification plan and promote the implementation in accordance with the principles of "one mouth and one policy"; strengthen the problem of pollution interception and solve the problem of sewage illegal flow into the river; By the end of 2025, the rectification was basically completed to promote the establishment of long -term management mechanisms for sewage outlets.

According to statistics, there are 1,842 sewage outlets in the Yangtze River in Wuhan. As one of the most abundant rivers in the world's aquatic creatures, according to incomplete statistics, there are more than 4,300 aquatic creatures in the Yangtze River Basin, including 424 fish, and more than 180 kinds of fish. Now, the biological resources of the Yangtze River are facing a huge crisis, and the Yangtze Biocence Index has been a "fishless" level.
