Laiyang Li Shengting: "Blood Heroes" 163 times of blood donation

Li Shengting, male, was born in June 1959, the person in charge of the volunteer service team of the Red Cross of Laiyang City. Li Shengting is an unpaid blood donation volunteer. Since 2003, he has contributed 163 times without compensation. Among them, 144 times of blood board donation, 19 full blood donations, and 62,400 ml of blood donation.

In recent years, Li Shengting considered that he was about to reach the upper limit of blood donation, and he regularly donated blood plates at Yantai to Yantai. While being keen to donate blood for free, Li Shengting also printed propaganda materials at his own expense, and insisted on carrying out the obligation to propagate blood donation for 3 hours a day. In 2011, his wife was unfortunately stroke, paralyzed in bed and could not take care of himself. While taking care of his wife carefully, Li Shengting still donated blood on time. The change of the family made Li Shengting a deeper feeling of the pain of inability to cure patients. After repeated communication with his family, Li Shengting and his wife participated in the register for the remains and organ donations.

On August 11, 2021, his wife died unfortunately and donated the cornea to the cornea to save two eye disease patients according to the agreement of his life. Li Shengting personally has been named the "Outstanding Volunteer of Shandong Province for Free Blood Donation Service" and "Outstanding Volunteer Volunteer in Yantai City", and won the Gold Award for the "National Free Blood Dedication Award" for five consecutive sessions.
