Israel and Barin open a free trade agreement negotiation

Xinhua News Agency, Jerusalem, September 20 (Reporter Zhang Tianlang Wang Zhuolun) The Ministry of Economics and Industry of Israel issued a statement on the 20th that Israel and Barin have opened a bilateral free trade agreement negotiation.

The statement said that the Minister of Economic Minister of the two countries met at the Balling capital on the 19th and jointly announced the opening of the negotiations of bilateral free trade agreements.The two countries will negotiate in terms of trade, supervision and standardization, customs, government procurement, e -commerce and intellectual property protection, in order to reach a free trade agreement.

Israel and Barin signed a normalization agreement in September 2020, and signed a joint communiqué in October to officially establish a comprehensive diplomatic relationship.According to data from the Ministry of Economics and Industry of Israel, the bilateral trade volume of the two countries was about 7.5 million US dollars in 2021.

Israel and the UAE officially signed a free trade agreement in Dubai, UAE city on May 31 this year.This is the first free trade agreement reached by Israel and Arab countries.
