Today, when the city wall photographer Liu Miaoling's tiles were finely dumped on the bricks, they unknowingly merged into a part of the historical long river.

In 10 years, she took 100,000 photos

"I have changed many residences in Nanjing, but every time I go next to the city walls, this is fate." Liu Miaoling, who is over 60 years old, still lamented his wonderful encounters with Nanjing City Wall. From the young demand to work, Liu Miaoling's life has been inseparable from the city walls for decades.

In 2012, she used to pick up the camera with the city wall and shoot the image with the theme of the city wall. 10 years of light, more than 100,000 photos were born from her hands. From ancient buildings to urban landmarks to dingling people, the flowing light and shadow are certain.

"There is also a city wall in Xi'an in my hometown. In Nanjing, there is always a sense of intimacy, and later became a sense of belonging." The similarity of the two cities in the landscape has inspired Liu Miaoling to understand the heart of Nanjing City Wall.

The Qinhuai River outside the Qinhuai River is the moat and the green bell mountains, the Nanjing Mingcheng wall winds up to 35.267 kilometers, and the foreign Guo city wall is more than 60 kilometers. It is the largest city wall in the country. City wall.

"Nanjing Mingcheng Wall is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with southern characteristics in the architectural style. People living here also bring a kind of grace and goodness." Liu Miaoling said that compared with the magnificent image of visual impact Pite and simple on earth. "Nanjing City Wall is constantly growing, and record history has also witnessed the changes in life today."

In the past ten years, Liu Miaoling has traveled to all the city walls in Nanjing, and used a camera to record the elderly people who embraced their grandchildren, childish teenagers, and tourists who looked up. When the city marathon prevailed, Liu Miaoling looked at the athletes with different skin colors to run on the city walls, and the high -rise buildings in the distance echoed the city walls in front of you.

"I took the last photo of the world in the world"

Liu Miaoling has taken many figures. Some of them are in a hurry, and some advance from "photographer" to "friends", which has made her unforgettable.

In the autumn of 2014, Liu Miaoling met Liu Xingming, a survivor of the Nanjing Massacre. "Liu Xingming is a suffering old man, but his life has not been occupied by suffering. I can still feel his goodwill and optimism."

Later, Liu Miaoling became a frequent visitor to Liu Xingming's family. When he visited, he was indispensable to talk about Nanjing City Wall. "He lives under the city wall and likes to walk in Xi'an Gate, Wuchaomen, and Donghua Gate." After more than 600 years of vicissitudes, the Nanjing City Wall silently digested all changes. Wrapped out of the stone bricks is tranquility and happiness.

However, as Liu Xingming's body deteriorated, Liu Miaoling ushered in the last "city wall" with Liu Xingming.

On the day of the meeting, Nanjing just fell a winter rain, and there was still a little mud on the small road of the Midnown Gate Park. There was just a team of people dancing on the open space, and Liu Xingming murmured himself as a good player when he was young. "Others sent an invitation, he jumped twice and slowly left. Sitting aside to rest, listening to people blowing Sax." Liu Miaoling captured in time, took out the recording pen that was carried with him, and accompanied the elderly to talk about home. "When he talked to me, his expression was very vivid, and he told me to pay more attention to my body."

Before returning home, the setting sun was shining on the wall. Liu Xingming, 83, stood in front of a huge wall, and bathed the whole body in the glory. Liu Miaoling raised the camera, and the shutter sound immediately sounded: simple elderly people, tall walls, and residual carving patterns, and a bouquet of light "illuminated" the children who grew up under the city wall and the city wall.

A few months later, Liu Xingming died. "I took the last photo of the world." To this day, Liu Miaoling still remembers the way to get along with himself with the old man, and the warm photo.

Fixed architects look like

In the sixth year of the Ming Dynasty (1393), the 28 -year -old Nanjing Mingcheng Wall was completed by the construction of Miyagi, Huangcheng, Jingcheng, and Waiguo City. In order to complete this great macro structure, the Ming Dynasty used about 280,000 migrant workers across the country, with a total of about 350 million bricks. Each stone brick was also marked with bricks and supervisors.

In the vast history, those builders from all over the country and different identities have long disappeared. In 2018, a special museum of local city walls started by the side of Nanjing Zhonghua Gate. Construction workers from all over the country walked into Liu Miaoling's vision.

"These workers are mobile operations, and they leave Nanjing at the end of the construction period. I don't even know what the construction materials that are now moving will become." Liu Miaoling found the renderings of the Nanjing City Wall Museum to print it, and then went to the construction site. "We simply divided the workers, and asked the workers to start the renderings. Everyone took a group photo."

The construction site full of blue climbing nets can not see the prototype of the museum. There are four or five groups of workers, standing in front of the renderings. "For the first time, they saw the renderings of the museum building. Some people also specially took umbrellas, bundle ropes, carts, drills as props, and were proud." During the construction period in full swing, the city wall builders left Nanjing to leave Nanjing to leave Nanjing with Nanjing. A new "city wall".

"I don't want to take a picture for them, but I want to leave them for thinking." Liu Miaoling recalled that on the day of the shooting, she asked one by one and wrote down the names of all workers. After the photo was flushed, she handed over 50 photos to their hands. "This is the result of their sweat and should be fixed." Under the wall, there is the most moist fireworks under the wall.

"The wall of Nanjing is a big stage. People have staged a sad and happy separation here, and the city walls and people nourish each other." Liu Miaoling always feels that the city walls are living. It has always been accompanied by the growth of cities and people. The embodiment of life.

Ten years of shooting the city wall, Liu Miaoling witnessed the changes in Nanjing with a camera. "There are constant high -rise buildings and bridges stand up, and the plants around the city walls are yellow and green, and there are more and more fresh character faces and living tools, but all changes are in harmony in the end." There is no thrilling hustle and bustle. Life, the seeds of the fireworks on the world are rooted here, and the nutrients are drawn to the fruit of happiness day and night.

Today, Liu Miaoling, who has retired, continues to shoot the story of the city wall while serving as volunteers of the Nanjing City Wall Museum. In her heart, I always remember the joint application project of "China Ming and Qing City Wall".

In 2012, eight city walls such as Nanjing, Xi'an, Xingcheng, Jingzhou, Xiangyang, Linhai, Shouxian and Fengyang jointly constituted the Ming and Qing city wall project in China. Later, six cities have joined one after another, and the scale of the city walls of 14 cities has continuously enriched the site system of the Ming and Qing cities in China.
