The reporter learned during the interview that the development of sodium ion batteries is still in the early stage and has not yet entered large -scale production and scenario applications. From the perspective of cost material structure, the cost of lithium -ion batteries is the highest, with 43%; while the cost of the positive electrode material of sodium ion batteries accounts for only 26%.
As one of the earliest companies to enter the field of sodium batteries, as early as July 29, 2021, the Ningde Times released its first generation of sodium ion batteries.
