Published and named a new species of a plant -Three Gorges Baiqian

The reporter learned from the Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the 16th that the papers describing and named the Three Gorges Baiqian have been published in the International Plant Classification College "Plant Group".

Before the Three Gorges White, it is a plant in front of the oleandee family. According to the latest definition of Baiqian, there are about 90 kinds of plants in China in my country. In the process of conducting wild plants in the Three Gorges area of ​​Chongqing, scientific researchers found that a kind of plants were suspected to be new species. By reviewing the literature, the collection of field samples, and the comparative study of related specimens, it finally confirmed that it was a new species.

The Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chongqing Nature Museum and Chongqing Wulipo National Nature Reserve have published this new species. According to experts from the Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Three Gorges Baiqian was adopted by Sichuan University Sichuan Botanical Survey team scholars Zhou Hongfu and Su and Yi in the Three Gorges as early as 1964. Military identification is a membrane leaf wiger vine or Jianshui baby vine. From 2019 to 2022, Chen Feng of the Chongqing Nature Museum and Zhou Houlin, such as Zhou Houlin, the Forestry Bureau of Chongqing, and other researchers have found this species At present, there are 5 distribution points in the Three Gorges Bai.
