President Senegal appoints New Prime Minister

Xinhua News Agency, Dakar, September 17 (Reporter Wang Zizheng) Senegal President Sale issued the Presidential Order on the 17th to appoint the former Minister of Economy and Finance Ama Duda as the Prime Minister.

Amada Paka subsequently delivered a speech on the National Television Station of the Saitarian National Television that improving family purchasing power, stabilizing commodity prices, and promoting entrepreneurship and employment will be the priority work of the new government.He will announce the list of new government members that night.

Ama Duda is 61 years old. From 2013 to 2019, he served as the Minister of Economy and Finance from 2019, and the Foreign Minister from 2019 to 2020.

Senegal abolished the Prime Minister's position in April 2019 and resumed this position in December 2021, but has not appointed the new Prime Minister.
