At 15:48 on September 16, 2022, the command center of the Changsha Fire Rescue Detachment received an alarm: a fire occurred in the East Second Ring Road China Telecom Building in Furong District. Disposal, the detachment of the Quality Command of the detachment was dispatched. At 16:00, the first batch of forces in the jurisdiction was present. After preliminary reconnaissance: the outside of the Lotus Garden Telecom Building of Furong District was fire, the building height was 218 meters, 42 floors above ground, and 2 floors underground. At present, Minghuo has been extinguished and no casualties have been found.

It is understood that the Electric Telecom Building was completed in 2000 and is located in the East Second Ring Road in Changsha City. It has become the first building that exceeds 200 meters at a height of 218 meters.
