Huang Libin made the above expression at the theme press conference of "Promoting Industrial Green and Low -Carbon Cycling" held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the 16th.

With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, the retirement volume of power batteries has increased year by year. Doing a good job of recycling power batteries is of great significance for protecting the ecological environment, improving the efficiency of resource utilization, and ensuring the sustainable and healthy development of the new energy vehicle industry. In recent years, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a series of policies with relevant departments to strengthen the monitoring of the traceability of the entire life cycle of power batteries and explore the diversified recycling model.

According to the data released at the meeting, as of the end of August, more than 190 enterprises such as automobile production and power battery comprehensive utilization have established 10,235 recycling service outlets across the country. Data from Tianyan Check shows that there are 38,500 companies in my country's power battery recycling.

Huang Libin said that it has been explored a number of new business models such as "stair batteries for rent" and "waste material for raw materials". The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will accelerate the research and formulation of management measures for recycling and use of new energy vehicle power batteries, and increase key technologies such as flexible disassembly and efficient regeneration utilization of retired batteries. Power battery comprehensively uses industry standards management, implement a dynamic adjustment mechanism of "progressive and out", and cultivates and entertains and recycled enterprises.
