A few days ago, the "Total Price Contracting Bidding for the Construction of the New Shenzhen to Jiangmen Railway Station" and the bidding announcement of the construction supervision were released. It is reported that the positive line of the Shenjiang Railway is 116 kilometers long and the design speed is 250 kilometers per hour.

Due to the complex geological conditions of the railway through the Pearl River Estuary and Shenwang City section tunnel engineering, the construction difficulty and long construction period are planned to be completed in March 2028.

In July 2020, as a key control project of the project, the construction of the Pearl River Estuary Tunnel started the construction of the Shenjiang Railway. The tunnel starts at the Dongguan Bay Bay Station, which ends at the thousands of hectares of the Sands in Nansha in Guangzhou. The line is 13.69 kilometers long. It is a 106 -meter -buried depth of 106 meters in the tunnel.

At the end of December last year, the project shield machine started, and officially opened the construction of the 115 -meter underwater through the construction of the Pearl River. Among them, the "Greater Bay Area" shield machine started from Nansha, Guangzhou, and set a record of 24 meters in June this year. Each of the shield machine is installed two meters of pipes every two meters. As of August 28, it has successfully excavated a kilometer and completed the 500 rings. At the same time, another shield machine "Shenjiang No. 1" began to excavate from Dongguan Humen to the Pearl River Estuary Sea. At present, it has been excavated over 680 meters.

The Shenjiang Railway is an important part of the National Railway Network's "Eight vertical and Eight Heng" high -speed railway main channel. It is a major transportation infrastructure that supports the construction of the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area. The rapid railway, its construction is of great significance for further improving the layout of the Guangdong Counseling Railway Network, strengthening the connection between the Pearl River Delta region and the western Guangdong region and even the North Bay and Hainan, and promote the rapid development of the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area and the economic revitalization and development of western Guangdong.
