At 12:52 on September 5, 2022, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, causing serious casualties and major property losses in Ya'an City.After the earthquake, the Ya'an Earthquake Resistance Headquarters immediately launched the first -level emergency response of the municipal earthquake disaster. Under the strong guidance of the working group of the State Council's Earthquake Resistance Headquarters and the strong leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, it quickly organized earthquake resistance and disaster relief work to carry out multiple rounds of personnel.Investigate search and rescue, properly transfer and resettle the affected people, transfer materials to ensure the basic lives of the masses, make every effort to repair the infrastructure, and investigate the disposal of various seismic secondary disasters.

At present, the order of production and life in the disaster area has gradually returned to normal, and it has basically reached the condition of ending emergency response.With the consent of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, it was decided to terminate the first -level emergency response of the municipal earthquake disaster from 18:00 on September 15, 2022.
