The first -level discipline of the landscape garden is canceled, and the degree category is adjusted to the doctoral level

The day before yesterday, the Degree Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education issued the "Catalog of Graduate Education Discipline (2022)" (hereinafter referred to as the new version of the catalog) and the "Administrative Measures for the Professional Catalog of Graduate Education". The new version of the directory shows that the "landscape garden" code is 0862, which is no longer a first -level discipline code.

The new version of the directory about code: This directory category code is two Arabic numerals, and the first -level discipline and professional degree category code is four Arabic numerals. The third place starts from "5" as a professional degree category. This shows that the landscape garden is no longer a first -level discipline in the new version of the directory.

The new version of the catalog is based on the "Disciplinary Catalog of Degree and Talent Cultivation (promulgated in 2011, revised in 2018)". In the catalog promulgated in 2011, the landscape garden science code is 0834, and there are labels "can be taught academic "Agricultural Degree", with 0813 architecture, 0833 urban and rural planning academic science.

In the new version of the catalog, 0813 architecture and 0833 urban and rural planning are still first -level disciplines, and two professional degrees of architecture and urban and rural planning have been added.

Scenic gardens were canceled first -level disciplines. At the end of last year, the Degree Committee of the State Council issued the "Disciplinary Catalog of Doctoral, Master's Degree and Talent Training Discipline (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)", of which 0834 landscape garden science was deleted.

According to the person in charge of the Office of the State Council's Degree Committee, there are 14 categories in the new version of the directory, 117 first -level disciplines, 36 doctoral degree categories, and 31 master's degree categories. This is the professional catalog of graduate education disciplines in my country, which will be implemented from 2023. In the future, the revision cycle of discipline categories, first -level disciplines and professional degree categories will be shortened from the previous 10 years to 5 years.

The new version of the catalog is newly established in intelligent science and technology, remote sensing science and technology, nano -science and engineering, soil and water conservation and desertification prevention and control, forensic medicine, etc., and renamed some first -level disciplines. It is also a new discipline or interdisciplinary discipline such as party building, disciplinary inspection and supervision, and regional national scholarships.

It is worthy of the garden people who are happy that the new version of the catalog has adjusted a number of professional degree categories such as landscape gardens, law, application psychology, publishing, public health, accounting, and auditing to the doctoral level.

It is understood that the graduate enrollment work launched in the second half of this year is still implemented according to the 2011 version of the directory. The new round of graduate enrollment work launched in the second half of 2023 will be implemented in accordance with the new version of the directory. The arrangements for students in the second half of this year and the graduate students of admission in September 2023. In accordance with the principle of "old mans and old methods", the training of these graduate students is still implemented in accordance with the original discipline.
