Starting from September 9, 2022, some Taihang successfully closed trucks produced from November 30, 2016 to December 26, 2016, a total of 2810 vehicles.

Reasons for recall

Pure electric closed trucks within the scope of this recall (product model SCH5022XXY-BEV2) due to the problem of poor single consistency in power batteries provided by suppliers, the differences after long-term charging and discharge gradually become larger. The vehicle is limited to power or the power interruption, and in severe cases, the power battery can be lost in control, and there is a risk of fire.

Solution

Shanxi Successful Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will test the power batteries of vehicles within the scope of the recall, replace the battery cell or module for power batteries that exist, and upgrade the battery management system BMS software to eliminate hidden safety hazards.
